Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform diversified duties in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining property and equipment to support business goals. The role requires basic mechanical, plumbing, and electrical skills and a high school diploma with 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities include scheduling repairs, preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and working with a variety of tools and equipment in an outdoor/indoor environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of relevant maintenance experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on interior and exterior of property.
• Schedule vendors and contractors for repairs outside routine maintenance.
• Maintain service and inspection schedules for equipment and facilities.
• Maintain MSDS binder and safety documentation.
• Install and maintain property machines and equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and weather-related duties.
• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs on equipment.
• Perform basic machinist duties as needed.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, and test adjustments.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Perform plumbing maintenance and carpentry tasks.
• Use hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment.
• Identify faulty operations and report safety concerns to Site Manager.
• Adhere to safety regulations and keep work areas clean.
• Work safely and address unsafe conditions promptly.
• Prepare units for move-ins and ensure readiness.
• Contribute to a healthy and productive work environment.
