Job summary

TC Energy Corp. in the United States seeks a multiskilled Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls (EIC) Measurement Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and operate natural gas compressor stations and meter stations.

The role requires a self-starter with strong problem solving and communication skills, willingness for overtime, and potential relocation support under our domestic program. Relocation support may be available and you will join a team dedicated to safe, reliable energy

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; trades program preferred.
• Second year of a trades program or two years vocational training required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment screening.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% and participate in on-call rotation.
• Experience with natural gas systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain natural gas compression equipment and related systems.
• Support installation, testing, repair, operation, and maintenance of compressor stations and pipelines.
• Assist with engine and compressor overhauls and related components.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and identify improvements for reliability.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, electrical schematics, and other technical docs.
• Document work orders and maintenance records using SAP and company systems.
