Job summary

JCMLiving in Lodi, NJ is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to keep our communities safe, functional, and well-maintained. The role covers electrical, plumbing, drywall, HVAC, and general carpentry tasks across apartment units and common areas.

You will perform on-call repairs, coordinate with contractors, and drive company vehicles as needed. The position offers paid time off and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining apartment communities and common areas.
• Working knowledge of electric, plumbing, drywall, flooring, appliances, windows and locks.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests within apartment community.
• Lifting of appliances, tile work, drywall work, appliance repair and installation, HVAC repairs.
• Snow removal.
• Coordinate with contractors and all employees.
• Carpentry, plumbing, light electrical, painting, refurbishing, cleaning, waste removal, heat and air-conditioning repair, masonry, grounds keeping, landscaping and sewer maintenance.
• Carry out preventative maintenance program under supervision.
• Be available for emergency repairs and after-hour on-call duty.
• Capable of driving all company vehicles with valid driver's license.
• Capable of using maintenance tools.
• Carry out all maintenance duties safely.
