Job summary

JCMLiving is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our apartments and community attractive and functional. The role requires knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall, flooring, appliances, windows and locks, with duties including maintenance requests and coordination with contractors.

We offer great working conditions and hours, paid vacation and sick time, and 16-25 paid holidays per year. Candidates must be able to drive company vehicles and be available for emergency repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of electric, plumbing, drywall, flooring and appliances.
• Ability to perform carpentry, painting and HVAC repairs.
• Willingness to perform snow removal and after-hours on-call duty.
• Must be capable of driving all company vehicles with a valid driver''s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests within apartment community
• Lifting of appliances, tile work, drywall work, appliance repair and installation, HVAC repairs
• Snow removal
• Carry out preventative maintenance program under the direction of Maintenance Supervisor
• Be available for emergency repairs and after-hours on-call duty as required
• Capable of driving all company vehicles with valid driver''s license
• Carrying out all maintenance duties safely that are required for this position
