Job summary

JCMLiving in New Jersey is seeking a Maintenance Technician with HVAC knowledge to keep apartments and community functioning smoothly.

The role requires hands-on work across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, flooring, appliances, and windows/locks. Will participate in preventative maintenance and be available for after-hours on-call.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC systems used in apartment maintenance.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, drywall, and carpentry tasks.
• Ability to work with appliances, windows, and locks.
• Boiler experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain HVAC units in apartments.
• Complete maintenance requests within the community.
• Perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general upkeep.
• Assist with snow removal and emergency repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with contractors and other staff.
• Drive company vehicles as required.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and safety duties.
