Job summary

Carolina-Container-A-Division-of-New-Indy is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot and maintain production equipment in a fast-paced plant in North Carolina. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, and repair drives and control circuits as needed.

The role requires a craft apprenticeship or equivalent, a High School Diploma, and four-plus years in manufacturing, including PLC and HVAC knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of a craft apprenticeship.
• Four plus years of manufacturing experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills.
• PLC experience and HVAC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and maintain production machines and plant facilities.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required service.
• Use hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment for maintenance work.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance during machine service.
