Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to perform skilled mechanical maintenance and related construction tasks. The role covers carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and equipment upkeep under supervision.

Candidate must have strong troubleshooting, communication skills, and be able to work in loud, hot environments. Responsibilities include safety adherence, PMs, and timely documentation, with on-call shifts and non-standard hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of maintenance experience, preferably on plastics extrusion equipment.
• Able to lift and handle 50 lb components; work in loud and hot environments.
• Able to pass forklift qualification test; strong troubleshooting skills.
• Good oral and written communication; self-initiative and follow-up skills.
• Willing to work various shifts and be on call when necessary.
• Capable of managing job-related stress and prioritizing tasks.
• Maintain strong attendance and flexibility for non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely comply with all written and verbal safety rules.
• Hands-on maintenance of all shift equipment to maintain proper efficiencies.
• Conducts PMs and documents work done.
• Reviews project assignments weekly and performs tasks assigned.
• Observes, reports, and resolves critical machine or safety issues when found.
• Completes assigned projects and/or work orders.
• Completes documentation of jobs done in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
