Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to keep our Birmingham pallet plant running efficiently. You’ll act as electrician, plumber, carpenter, and inventory manager, maintaining multiple types of equipment and ensuring maximum uptime.

The role is 1st shift (Mon-Sat, 6:00am–4:00pm) at 1900 Vanderbilt Road, Birmingham, AL 35234. Hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $24.00, with benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k), and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience with production automation equipment.
• Experience with basic plumbing, electrical wiring, and carpentry.
• Low voltage electrical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect wiring, make repairs, and troubleshoot all plant equipment as necessary.
• Respond urgently to maintenance needs to ensure plant operations run smoothly.
• Completely learn existing and new equipment within the plant.
• Other projects as necessary.
