Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to maintain multiple types of equipment in a wood pallet manufacturing plant. The role combines electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and inventory duties to keep operations running at peak efficiency.

You will inspect and repair plant equipment, respond quickly to maintenance needs, and learn existing and new machinery. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits for eligible full-time employees.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience handling Production Automation Equipment.
• Experience with basic plumbing, basic electrical wiring, and basic carpentry.
• Low Voltage Electrical experience required.
• Attention to detail to ensure all jobs and tasks are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.

Responsibilities

• Inspect wiring, make repairs, and troubleshoot all plant equipment as necessary.
• Respond urgently to all maintenance needs to ensure plant operations run smoothly.
• Completely learn existing and new equipment within the plant.
• Other projects as necessary.
