Job summary

Hana Brands is seeking an Area Manager to oversee sushi bars and Asian cuisine venues in local grocery stores. You will lead recruitment, training, and daily kiosk operations while leveraging data to drive growth and ensure food safety and quality across locations.

You will manage on-site teams, use tools like Yoobic, Power BI and Adoria, and coordinate with corporate teams on permits, compliance, and brand standards.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of food-related experience and/or operational business management.
• 3-5 years of team leadership in a safe and dependable workspace.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations and the ability to identify when out of compliance.
• Must be organized and display keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs; able to train others on company programs.

Responsibilities

• On-site training and coaching in sales growth opportunities, daily operations, food safety, customer service and inventory management through technology (Yoobic, Power BI, Adoria) as well as HR systems
• Review and understand daily sales data to drive sales and growth by kiosk location using provided tools
• Maintain company standards of food safety and quality, coordinating with DO and corporate teams
• Regular operational store visits and inspections to ensure standards are met and staff wellbeing, including weekend and evening hours
• Recruit, train and maintain team members to meet staffing expectations per kiosk location through HR tech and operational data
• Lead and inspire staff to be excellent leaders and team players; maintain HR system info for timely pay and benefits
• Coordinate and maintain permits and licenses per location with corporate teams
• Represent the company brand professionally; communicate to build relationships with clients and employees; uphold initiatives and policies
• Communicate the company mission and future方向 with optimism and confidence
