Job summary

Harris Health is seeking a Supervisor Pharmacist to support operations across Smith Clinic, Casa De Amigos, and LBJ. You will lead daily workflows, supervise staff, and ensure safe, compliant medication management across the network.

This role emphasizes collaborative patient care, formulary adherence, clinical intervention oversight, and ongoing staff education to promote excellence in service delivery. A PharmD is preferred; Texas licensure or eligibility required within 90 days;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required.
• PharmD preferred.
• Texas Pharmacist License or eligibility; must obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of employment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for inpatient positions; preferred for outpatient roles.
• IV Sterile Certification required for all inpatient areas and Fondren Pharmacy.
• Texas Pharmacist Preceptor Certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive, relevant pharmacy experience.
• Outpatient/Retail experience required for ACS positions.
• Inpatient hospital experience required for IP positions.
• Completion of a PGY1 ASHP-accredited residency highly preferred.
