Job summary

Greif is seeking a Division Reliability Engineer to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance across its Sustainable Fiber Solutions mill network. You’ll assess equipment and practices, identify opportunities, and implement sustainable improvements.

You’ll partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams to reduce downtime and raise reliability across six mills. You’ll develop KPIs, dashboards, and corrective actions, while travelling regularly to supported mill

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Typically 12+ years of relevant engineering, reliability, or industrial maintenance experience.
• Proven reliability engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance and root cause analysis.
• Experience with CMMS/EAM systems and maintenance workflows.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical/electrical systems and instrumentation.
• Ability to analyze downtime data and translate findings into improvements.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support reliability improvement plans across multiple facilities.
• Analyze downtime and maintenance data to identify recurring failures and opportunities.
• Collaborate with site teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Strengthen preventive/predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and outage planning.
• Create reliability KPIs, reports, and dashboards to track progress.
• Support CMMS/EAM systems and maintenance processes.
• Lead reliability assessments and root cause problem solving.
• Provide hands-on reliability support at mill locations when needed.
• Share reliability standards and best practices across the network.
• Evaluate reliability tech and assist with capital planning decisions.
