Job summary

Greif is seeking a Division Reliability Engineer to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance across its Sustainable Fiber Solutions mill network. You will assess equipment, identify gaps, and partner with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to reduce unplanned downtime and enhance reliability practices.

You will lead root cause analyses, develop KPIs, and support CMMS/EAM systems, while traveling regularly to supported mill locations to implement durable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of relevant engineering, reliability, or industrial maintenance experience.
• Proven reliability engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance, RCA, equipment criticality, condition monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CMMS/EAM systems and maintenance processes.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and industrial instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop reliability improvement plans across multiple facilities.
• Analyze downtime and maintenance data to identify recurring failures and improvements.
• Partner with site teams to troubleshoot chronic equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Strengthen preventive/predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, lubrication, and outage planning.
• Develop reliability KPIs, reports, and dashboards to track performance.
• Support CMMS/EAM data quality and maintenance work processes.
• Lead reliability assessments, root cause analyses, and follow-up plans.
• Provide hands-on reliability support at mill locations when needed.
• Develop and share reliability standards and best practices across mills.
• Evaluate reliability technologies and support asset upgrades and capital planning.
