Job summary

The Child Center of NY is seeking a Senior Program Director to supervise multiple program directors across Brooklyn and Far Rockaway sites. The role oversees finances, staff development and program advocacy, driving strategic planning for the agency’s programs.

In this senior leadership position you will build relationships with funders, licensing agents, school leaders, families and internal teams to ensure high-quality services and compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Public Administration or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with at least 2 years supervising staff.
• Bilingual in Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese/Bengali or others may be required depending on client needs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to plan/execute independently.
• Master's degree in education or social work with SIFI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, coaching and feedback to site leadership and teams.
• Oversee operations to achieve enrollment, participation and program goals.
• Ensure cost-effective delivery of high-quality services and smooth operations.
• Prepare for audits and implement policies to meet regulatory requirements.
• Meet performance metrics defined for the program and engage stakeholders.
