Job summary

One Community Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem coverage across Midtown, Carmichael, and Arden clinic sites. You will provide direct patient care under the Nurse Manager, perform triage, documentation, and care coordination, and support a team-based model across ages from newborn to geriatric.

This role requires a California RN license, Associate Degree in Nursing, and minimum 1 year of clinical experience. Per diem shifts may include weekend availability; not benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing
• 1 year clinical experience
• Current active license to practice as an RN in California
• Active CPR or BLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the Nurse Manager across the continuum of care.
• Perform in-person and telephone triage and advice per protocols.
• Document all patient interactions in the EMR in a detailed, systematic manner.
• Support diverse populations from newborn to geriatric with culturally competent care.
• Coordinate post-hospital follow-up appointments for primary care patients.
• Lead clinical support staff including MAs and LVNs in a team-based model.
