Job summary

Lower Lights Christian Health Center (LLCHC) seeks a Medical Assistant to join a multisite clinical support team across seven central Ohio locations. You will greet patients, prepare exam rooms, assist clinicians, and manage in-office testing and documentation.

Travel to different LLCHC sites is required. The role requires a certified or eligible CMA, strong EHR skills, CPR/BLS certification, and 1–3 years in a physician office.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or CMA certification.
• Certification eligible or already certified Medical Assistant.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Computer experience with electronic health records (EHR) preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to 7 LLCHC locations as needed.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• 1–3 years in a provider's office preferred.
• Available 7:45am–5:30pm; hours may extend slightly.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Room patients and verify/update information.
• Assist providers and prepare examinations.
• Perform in-office testing and specimen collection.
• Administer immunizations/medications per orders.
• Document in medical records accurately and timely.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety standards.
• Travel between LLCHC locations as needed.
• Support in scheduling and follow-up communications.
