Lower Lights Christian Health Center is hiring a Medical Assistant to support multiple LLCHC locations in central Ohio. You will prepare patients for exams, assist providers, and manage intake, documentation, and immunization workflows.

Role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and multi-site coverage. Responsibilities include vital signs, phlebotomy where needed, vaccine administration, and accurate charting in the EMR/HER system.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with certification eligibility or certification.
• CPR/BLS certification required or current.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred is a plus.
• Experience with immunization schedules and medical terminology.
• Proficient in computer use and EHR systems.
• Willingness to travel to LLCHC locations as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for exams and treatment and assist providers.
• Screen patients for vital signs and update records in EMR/HER.
• Schedule follow-ups and provide after-visit summaries to patients.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to safety standards.
• Assist with vaccination administration and specimen collection.
• Communicate clearly with patients, staff, and providers.
• Cover seven LLCHC locations as needed and ensure room readiness.
• Maintain documentation for regulatory compliance and quality control.

Conhecimentos

Bilingual (Spanish/English) Preferred

CPR/BLS certification

Phlebotomy experience preferred

Knowledge of immunization schedule
