Job summary

UDR, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Crown Pointe and Hilltop communities in Renton, WA. You will respond to maintenance requests, repair and restore services, and help keep the property in top condition to ensure resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in multi-family or similar setting is required.
• Competency in residential plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting and drywall.
• Knowledge of HVAC and carpentry is a plus.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency with modern technology (computers/smartphones).
• Valid driver’s license and on-call rotation required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to common area and resident maintenance requests and repair/restore service promptly.
• Maintain appearance of the community including grounds, buildings and common areas, report safety issues.
• Ensure apartments are ready for occupancy; perform electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and related tasks as needed.
• Maintain tools/equipment and assist in stocking inventory.
• Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.
• Adhere to company policies and Living the UDR Values.
