Job summary

Mashcole Property Management seeks a Maintenance Technician to manage day-to-day operations and maintain the physical asset of our properties. You will perform make readies, HVAC and electrical troubleshooting, plumbing, carpentry, pool care, and appliance repairs under supervision of the Regional Property Supervisor.

The role is on-site at Sherman Oaks/Valley Village with a 40-hour work week and hourly pay of $26.00–$28.00 depending on experience; a valid driver's license and hand tools are

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 1 year trade school or 6 months of work experience.
• Good working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, pool maintenance, and appliance repair.
• Must have hand tools normally used in construction, maintenance and landscaping.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day operations and the physical asset under supervision.
• Complete service requests and work orders.
• Perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs.
• Inspect and maintain common areas, pool and landscaping.
• Assist in annual unit inspections and move-outs.
