Job summary

Mashcole Property Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage day-to-day operations and maintain the property assets in North Hollywood, CA.

You will handle preventive maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and pool care as part of a full-time role. The position involves completing service requests and work orders under supervision, with a 40-hour workweek and an hourly wage of $27.00.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year trade school or 6 months related work experience preferred.
• Good working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, pool maintenance, and appliance repair.
• Must have hand tools normally used in construction and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate work order requests and on-call log records with time spent on tasks.
• Assist with ordering supplies and inventory of maintenance items and appliances.
• Prepare for bi-annual property inspections and attend applicable training seminars.
• Attend scheduled management meetings and participate in property operations.
• Maintain daily upkeep of mechanical equipment per the preventive maintenance program (HVAC, water heaters, smoke alarms, etc.).
• Diagnose problems and assist with maintenance tasks including make-ready, appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Assist with exterior property upkeep, grounds, breezeways, and common areas.
• Assist with annual unit inspections and during move-outs for cleaning/trash-out.
