Job summary

Horizon Management Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to upkeep three properties in the Janesville (Diamond Ridge) and Madison (Burr Oaks and Ellis Potter) area. On-call responsibility every other week for Janesville properties.

Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and renovations to keep buildings in top condition. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to helping residents.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in multi-family housing preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting.
• Diagnose and repair issues in apartments and common areas promptly.
• Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and inventory.
• Ensure units meet move-in quality standards prior to occupancy.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and OSHA guidelines.
