Job summary

Uniland Development Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to deliver skilled maintenance and repair services across its portfolio and third-party properties. The role involves responding to service requests, preventive maintenance, and emergencies, while maintaining professional standards and tenant satisfaction.

The position requires 3+ years in building maintenance, OSHA 10 certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel between properties.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in general building maintenance or a related skilled trade.
• Experience in commercial, multi-tenant or property management environments preferred.
• OSHA 10-Hour Safety Certification required or to be obtained.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to maintenance requests, including emergencies, with professionalism.
• Travels between properties to perform skilled maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general facilities.
• Diagnoses and resolves issues ensuring timely repairs with minimal disruption.
• Maintains clean, safe work areas and adheres to safety regulations and policies.
• Documents work orders, timecards, and service logs accurately.
• Participates in after-hours on-call coverage and emergency responses.
• Operates company vehicles and manages tools, equipment, and inventory.
