Job summary

Hope Network is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to ensure facilities, equipment, and grounds are safe and functional. You’ll perform a range of repairs, travel to locations throughout Michigan, and support safety and life-safety efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in maintenance, facilities, or related field.
• Experience with electrical and plumbing repairs is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel within service area.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Travel to Hope Network locations throughout Michigan to complete requests.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, flooring, and general repairs.
• Conduct safety assessments and communicate recommendations to leadership.
• Assist with grounds maintenance and equipment moves.
• Maintain accurate work orders, estimates, inventory records, and purchasing info.
• Coordinate with staff, vendors, and supervisors to complete maintenance tasks.
