Job summary

Madison Communities in Melbourne, FL is seeking a part-time Leasing Consultant to greet prospects, explain floor plans, and showcase our communities. You will be the first point of contact and drive occupancy goals.

The role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and tech comfort with MS Office and property management software. Travel between two properties may be required; weekend availability is a plus. You’ll handle applications, coordinate tours, and support move-ins and renewals.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills; natural at connecting with people.
• Creativity & problem-solving; think outside the box to attract and retain residents.
• Tech-savvy; comfortable with MS Office and property management software.
• Property management experience preferred but not required; sales/leasing experience welcome.

Responsibilities

• Be the Face of the Community – provide top-notch service to current and prospective residents.
• Drive Leasing Success – lease apartments, meet occupancy goals, promote communities.
• Know Your Product – stay informed about property, amenities, and competitors.
• Track & Follow Up – monitor leasing traffic and analyze trends.
• Facilitate the Lease Process – from application review to paperwork.
• Ensure Move-In Readiness – conduct inspections and walkthroughs.
• Drive Renewals – build relationships and coordinate renewals.
• Market Like a Pro – engage in outside marketing to attract residents.
