Job summary

Placemakr is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead and coordinate housekeeping operations across the Washington metro area, ensuring ultra-high cleanliness and resident readiness. You will manage internal teams and third-party vendors while partnering with leaders to meet occupancy schedules and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, vendor management, and quality control capabilities, with a focus on coaching staff and optimizing operations across multiple properties.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of housekeeping or facilities experience in multifamily housing, hospitality, or similar.
• Two or more years in a leadership role overseeing housekeeping or operations teams.
• Experience managing third-party service providers and vendor relationships.
• Strong organizational and logistical planning skills across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Own the housekeeping operation's success across the portfolio to ensure exceptional cleanliness and resident readiness.
• Lead, coach, and develop Supervisors, Housekeepers, and Housepersons for quality, productivity, and service.
• Coordinate internal teams and third‑party vendors, ensuring consistent execution to Placemakr standards.
• Develop daily staffing plans based on occupancy, priorities, and business needs.
• Conduct routine quality inspections and provide coaching or corrective action when standards are not met.
