Family & Child Empowerment Services (FACES) is seeking a Floater Teacher to support early childhood education across San Francisco sites. You will manage classrooms, plan activities, and maintain safety protocols while fostering positive relationships with families.

Qualifications

• Must maintain or qualify for California Child Development Permit or higher.
• 0–5 years of experience with children 0–5 years old.
• Willingness to travel between FACES campuses.
• Commitment to serving families from marginalized communities.
• Effective and compassionate communication; interdisciplinary teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage classroom environments to ensure safety and engagement.
• Plan and implement lessons and activities aligned with child development goals.
• Conduct health checks and uphold health/safety procedures.
• Observe and document developmental progress (DRDP) for assigned children.
• Communicate daily with parents/caregivers about child milestones and day.
