Job summary

CP08 Carilion Healthcare Corporation is seeking an APP (NP or PA) for a float position in Family Medicine. This role involves providing care at various clinics in the New River Valley area, including precepting PA and NP students.

The successful candidate will have a graduate degree in an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and at least one year of experience in Family and Community Medicine. Comprehensive benefits include medical and dental coverage, a pension plan, and paid time off from day one.

Qualifications

• Current DEA license and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
• Minimum one year experience in Family and Community Medicine.
• Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide family and community medicine care in the assigned clinics.
• Precept PA and NP students from partnering programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers.
