Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to champion safety at our Maryland sites. You will lead the Global WHS Program implementation, conduct risk assessments, analyze data, and partner with Operations leadership to protect associates while sustaining productivity.

The role requires travel 50-70%, leading audits, managing the first aid program and emergency response, and developing leadership plans. Strong communication with site leaders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or 2+ years Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS and/or environmental programs.
• 3+ years in people and performance management, or 2+ years Amazon Safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and oversee WHS programs.
• Conduct site audits and analyze incident trends to drive improvements.
• Manage first aid and emergency response capabilities.
