Job summary

Thrive Preschool is seeking an Early Childhood Cross-School Regional Substitute Teacher to support multiple Denver metro schools on an hourly basis. You will assist lead teachers, help implement inquiry-based activities, and ensure safety and positive interactions with children and families.

The role requires Colorado Shines PDIS 3.0 Level 2+ qualifications and a flexible schedule around our five-location network. Expect about 20 hours per week with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and passion for working with young children and families.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Ability to be flexible about which school you work at across the Denver Metro area.
• Intentional and reflective in professional practice.
• Meets or exceeds minimum qualifications for Early Childhood Lead Teacher in Colorado; CO state licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing inquiry-based curriculum and documentation.
• Cultivate a learning environment addressing cognitive, physical, social, emotional development and diverse needs.
• Enforce classroom rules and safety procedures across multiple sites.
• Conduct ongoing observation and documentation of students’ learning experiences and progress.
