Job summary

The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Urology, seeks full-time Clinical Associates on renewable terms up to three years. Appointees will provide inpatient and outpatient care to support the faculty at Hyde Park and affiliated sites, including office visits, ambulatory procedures, and advanced surgeries.

Teaching is not required; benefits are provided. Positions involve night and weekend call and may be assigned to multiple locations within the network to meet department

Qualifications

• 1) have a medical doctorate (MD) or equivalent.
• 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and Indiana.
• 3) be Board certified or eligible with the American Board of Urology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient patient care to support faculty in Urology.
• Direct patient care through office visits, ambulatory procedures, and state-of-the-art surgery.
• Fulfill call duties as part of the clinical service.
• Be based at Hyde Park with potential assignments to affiliated sites as needed.
