Job summary

The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Urology, is seeking full-time Clinical Associates for renewable terms of up to three years. Appointees will provide inpatient and outpatient care to support the faculty in Urology at Hyde Park and affiliated sites, with duties including office visits, ambulatory procedures, robotic and laparoscopic surgery, and on-call coverage.

Compensation is based on qualifications; these positions are benefits-eligible, and the university offers

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required.
• Be licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Illinois and Indiana.
• Board certified or eligible with the American Board of Urology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient care to support faculty in Urology.
• Perform office visits, ambulatory procedures, and state-of-the-art surgery (robotic and laparoscopic).
• Provide on-call coverage as needed.
