Job summary

The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Urology, invites applications for full-time faculty positions at any rank on the School of Medicine track. Appointees will provide inpatient and outpatient care at Hyde Park and affiliated sites, including River East and surrounding facilities, with emphasis on robotic and laparoscopic treatments.

Responsibilities include teaching, supervision of trainees and students, scholarly activity, and participation in a call schedule.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Illinois and Indiana.
• Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Urology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient urology care at Hyde Park and affiliated sites.
• Teach and supervise residents and students.
• Engage in scholarly activity and clinical research.
• Participate in call rotation and ambulatory procedures.
• Contribute to program development across multiple locations.
