Job summary

University of Chicago is seeking General Urologists, Clinical Associates, to join the Department of Surgery, Section of Urology, for renewable terms of up to three years. Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient care to support faculty at Hyde Park and affiliated sites, with opportunities for state-of-the-art surgery and ambulatory procedures.

• Perform office visits, ambulatory procedures, and state-of-the-art surgery.
• Provide call coverage as part of clinical duties.
• No teaching or scholarly activity required.

General Urologists, Clinical Associates

Salary Range: $450,000 - $600,000 per year

The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Urology, is searching for full-time Clinical Associates for renewable terms of up to three years. Appointees will have inpatient and outpatient responsibilities to support and complement the faculty in Urology at the Hyde Park location and affiliated sites depending on the department's needs. Clinical duties include direct patient care through office visits, ambulatory procedures, state-of-the-art surgery, and call. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications. These positions are benefits-eligible. The Section of Urology excels in robotic and laparoscopic treatments for both cancerous and non-cancerous urologic conditions, with national expertise in bladder cancer, prostate issues, reconstructive surgery, kidney stones, and pediatric urology. The program includes practice activities on the main campus in Hyde Park as well as at Orland Park and the South Loop; outpatient facilities are located in River East; the Ingalls Health System, which has integrated into our network; a multispecialty care facility in Northwest Indiana; and affiliated clinics at Advent Health. Appointees may be assigned to one or more of these locations.
