Job summary

CAPHR, Inc. seeks a Center Director to oversee daily operations, management, and quality child care across its Child Care Center(s). You will report to the Operations Manager and the Child Development Director to ensure excellence and compliance.

You will lead staff development, manage enrollment and finances, enforce licensing standards, and supervise curriculum for Early Head Start and Head Start. A valid driver's license and ability to travel are required; NH licensing qualifications

Qualifications

• Minimum AA in Early Childhood Education; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-4 years management experience with supervision.
• Experience in budgeting and fee collection is a plus.
• Auto insurance is required.
• NH Child Care Licensing qualification as center director is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in training and mentoring staff to meet requirements and ensure quality experiences for children and families.
• Oversee daily operations and management of the center and enforce center policies.
• Ensure compliance with licensing standards and re-licensing.
• Develop action plans for emergencies and communicate them clearly.
• Maintain quality program in line with NAEYC and Head Start standards.
