Job summary

Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is hiring a Multiservice Librarian for the Enterprise Library. The role supports reference, reader’s advisory, and program development, with PIC duties and event coordination across a busy library. It requires MLS/MLIS and at least one year of customer service in a library setting.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with benefits, and an emphasis on youth/adult services, safety, and professional development within the district.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Library Science (MLS/MLIS) from an ALA-accredited program.
• One year of customer service experience in a library or academic setting.
• Ability to obtain Nevada driver's license at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned staff and provide coaching.
• Assist with collection maintenance and development; read reviews and weed as needed.
• Plan, coordinate, and participate in outreach and library programs.
• Maintain compliance with policies and ensure safe environment for staff and customers.
