Job summary

Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is seeking a Multiservice Librarian for the Enterprise Library in Las Vegas. The role supports reference, reader’s advisory, and program services, with responsibilities ranging from supervision to outreach and program development.

The position is full-time (40 hours) and exempt, reporting to management-level Library Operations. Salary ranges from $72,911 to $97,707 per year, with merit and COLA increases per policy. Interview targets in late October 2026.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program.
• One year of customer service experience in a library or academic setting.
• Ability to obtain Nevada driver’s license and complete PIC training within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned staff, including coaching and development.
• Assist with collection maintenance and ordering library materials, weed collections.
• Maintain compliance with district policies and procedures; explain them to customers and staff.
• Coordinate outreach and library programming across sites.
• Attend professional association meetings and seminars; stay current with literature.
