Job summary

Comcast Advertising is seeking a local advertising sales professional to develop and service a base of local clients and agencies to meet annual sales goals in Roanoke, VA, offering zone buying to target customers in retail trading areas.

You will present market research, craft proposals, and coordinate with internal teams to schedule ads, monitor activity, and pursue new business while maintaining records and contributing to forecasts.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of local ad sales or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Proficient in CRM and prospecting practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, develops and presents market research and ad proposals.
• Assists in developing marketing activities to generate local ad sales revenue.
• Coordinates with internal teams to schedule advertising and manage accounts.
• Maintains customer and prospect records and contributes to sales forecasts.
• Documents contracts, schedules, calls and expense reports.
• Prospects new customers following company sales strategies.
• Prepares reports and correspondence; exercises independent judgment.
• Maintains attendance and works nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
