Job summary

StartupNWA in Siloam Springs, AR, is seeking candidates for full-time production roles on our food processing line. You will learn and perform tasks across packer, scaler, styler and grader positions and help maintain line speeds for each product.

Responsibilities include working on a moving conveyor belt, packing by hand and with packaging machines, inspecting and sorting products, and supporting team initiatives to uphold quality, safety, and efficiency on the floor.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Industry experience in poultry or food processing preferred

Responsibilities

• Works on a moving conveyor belt using both hands at a fast pace to spread product out on the belt
• Performs multiple types of packing by hand and packaging machine
• Inspects, grades, and removes product that does not meet standards
• Participates in team development, communicates effectively, and supports policy implementation
• Follows Simmons operating systems principles and maintains safety and quality standards
• Performs other duties as necessary to support business objectives
• Physical activities: move up to 70 pounds, work in a cold, wet, dusty environment for 8-12 hour shifts
• Wear PPE including waterproof gloves, sleeves, footwear and ear plugs
