Atkore International in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Forklift Operator for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7 AM - 3 PM). Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this role handles materials in production, inventory accuracy, and shipments.
You will pull and verify materials, deliver at work centers, inspect for quality, and prepare finished stock for shipment. The job requires lifting up to 50 lbs and availability for overtime.
We are currently looking for a Forklift Operator to be based out of Philadelphia, PA. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this person will have broad responsibility within the production department. This position will work 1st shift, and flexibility will be required dependent on projects and workload.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may sometimes be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the plant environment can be loud. Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds. The manufacturing plant is not climate controlled. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protectors, hi-visibility uniforms, and metatarsal steel-toed work boots.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $21.49. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
