Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Experience with software verification and validation, including automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and software release processes.
• Ability to understand multidisciplinary engineering and physics-based models in code.
• Experience with high-performance computing clusters and parallel processing.
• Experience in numerical methods, ML, and AI applications.
• Technical writing experience and clear communication with diverse teams.
• Ability to interface with government customers or stakeholders.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead adoption and implementation of software engineering best practices across AMA projects.
• Establish coding standards, style guides, and development workflows.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship on software quality and design patterns.
• Champion testing, documentation, and management of technical debt.
• Serve as the primary software architect for in-house analysis tools.
• Refactor and optimize scientific codes for maintainability and performance.
• Develop interfaces and workflows for multiphysics simulations.
• Create and execute V&V plans with unit and regression tests and benchmarks.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, tests, and validation data.
• Prepare codes for formal release as primary release manager.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and testing.
• Collaborate with NASA staff and AMA engineers to implement physics models.
