Job summary

GE Vernova Advanced Research is seeking a Multi-Physics Modeling & Scientific Machine Learning Engineer to develop high‑fidelity multi‑physics models for electrification, wind, gas turbines, and nuclear reactors. You will apply physics modeling, data‑driven surrogates, and ML at scale on HPC to solve complex engineering challenges.

You will collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, validate results, and contribute to proposals with internal units and external agencies.

Qualifications

• PhD in fluid dynamics, CFD, thermo-sciences or closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute tasks blending physics, computing and ML.
• Collaborate on multi-generation tech programs to advance design and modeling.
• Develop advanced computational methodologies and implement them per best software practices.
• Run high-fidelity simulations and perform analyses.
• Use proprietary, open-source and commercial tools as needed.
• Participate in validation and verification to advance new technologies.
• Communicate results clearly to stakeholders and document findings.
