CFD Research Corporation seeks a highly skilled Computational Scientist (Multiphysics Simulation) to advance our in-house multiphysics platform for biological applications. You will develop solvers, extend models, and validate numerical methods while collaborating with experimental scientists.

Qualifications

• PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience in Applied Mathematics, Computational Science, Physics, Engineering, or closely related field.
• Strong foundation in numerical analysis, linear algebra, differential equations, and stochastic modeling; solver implementation experience.
• Proficiency in C++ for scientific computing; ability to work in a large codebase and in Python/MATLAB/Julia for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, extend, and maintain solvers within our in-house C++ multiphysics platform.
• Apply and support computational models across biological systems and applications.
• Formulate mathematical models to simulate complex systems and processes.
