Job summary

WVU Medicine in Morgantown seeks a Multiorgan Transplant Surgeon to practice in the WVU Medicine Center for Organ Transplantation. The candidate will perform deceased donor liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation and participate in organ procurement, living donor cases, and comprehensive perioperative care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and eligible for state medical license.
• Completed general surgery residency and abdominal transplant fellowship.
• Board certified or board eligible.

Responsibilities

• Practice in multiorgan transplant surgery and perform deceased donor liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation, and organ procurement.
• Participate in living donor liver and kidney transplantation and provide pre- and post-operative care and donor/ recipient evaluation.
• Take part in a shared transplant call schedule and actively teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
