Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center in Palm Beach County is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate CT and radiography equipment, following ALARA principles and established protocols. The role requires preparing rooms, documenting in Cerner and PACS, and ensuring patient care during imaging studies.

The successful candidate will hold ARRT CT certification, Florida state license, CPR, and have at least 1 year of acute care imaging experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists.
• ARRT CT certification and Florida state license (HRS) required; CPR (BCLS) certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an acute care setting performing CT and radiography imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT and radiography equipment to perform imaging studies as per protocols and manufacturer specifications.
• Prepares rooms, supplies and equipment for patient usage; documents in Cerner and PACS.
• Rotates call schedule and attends to direct and indirect patient care needs during imaging studies.

Job Summary

Full Time, Nights

Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months

Operates CT and radiography equipment to perform a variety of imaging studies as indicated by established protocols and manufacturer specifications. Obtains optimum diagnostic imaging following ALARA principals. Prepares rooms, supplies and equipment for patient usage. Prepares timely documentation in Cerner and PACS. Attends to direct and indirect patient care needs to ensure successful completion of requested imaging studies. Rotates call schedule as needed. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists

Licenses, Certifications:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Licensed Radiologic Technologists, State of Florida (HRS)
• ARRT CT certification
• Current CPR (BCLS) certification

Minimum Experience

• Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologist with ARRT CT certification.A minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care setting performing CT and radiography imaging procedures.
