Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Licensed Radiology Technology - New York State Department of Health.
• 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Positions patients and selects parameters to independently perform imaging in assigned modalities.
• Implements radiation protection and patient safety standards.
• Completes required documentation for procedures and image distribution.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope and regulations.
• Maintains supplies and participates in inventory control and efficiency.
