Qualifications

• Must have passed or is eligible for ARRT examination in Radiography.
• Certification by ARRT within six months of employment or during provisional period.
• Maintains BLS certification with biannual renewal.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and professional conduct; adhere to radiation safety standards (ALARA).
• Provide high-quality patient care from arrival to departure, with courtesy and discretion.
• Operate imaging equipment and adjust technical factors to produce diagnostic images.
• Assist physicians with contrast media, sterile procedures, and patient handling.
• Maintain imaging rooms, equipment, and supplies; report malfunctions and complete clerical duties.
