Job summary

Stormont Vail Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic and advanced imaging procedures. You will prepare and position patients, adjust exposure factors for optimal images, and ensure safety and quality control.

The role includes assisting radiologists in fluoroscopic studies, maintaining records, and supporting training for new staff. Required ARRT Radiography certification, LRT licensure within 90 days of hire, and BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Radiology staff must meet ARRT radiography certification.
• LRT licensure required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience with at least one advanced imaging modality preferred (CT, MRI, NM, US).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patients for diagnostic imaging.
• Operates radiologic equipment and adjusts exposure factors.
• Ensures patient safety and radiation protection practices.
• Completes documentation and maintains records of procedures.
• Assists radiologists in fluoroscopic and special exams and supports training of staff.
