Job summary

Nutex Health, Inc. is seeking a Radiology Technologist Multimodality to operate advanced scanning equipment and capture high-quality images. The role requires patient care, safety, and technical excellence in a fast-paced environment, with PRN shift coverage.

You will perform a range of modalities (CT, X-ray, MRI, US), follow physicians’ instructions, administer contrast, monitor for reactions, and maintain equipment and inventory. ARRT/RDMS and BLS certifications are required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in CT, X-ray, MRI, or Ultrasound (US) as verified by ARRT or RDMS certification.
• At least one year of experience working in a hospital setting.
• Multimodality Technologists must possess certification in two (2) or more modalities or have cross-training.
• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Accurately position patients to ensure effective scanning of specific body areas.
• Conduct regular warm-up sequences on radiologic equipment to maintain functionality.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment thoroughly to ensure patient safety and infection control.
• Interpret and follow physicians' written scanning instructions accurately.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal structures.
• Review and evaluate scans to confirm they meet technical quality standards.
• Clearly explain scanning procedures to patients, offering reassurance and support as needed.
• Monitor patients during scanning procedures, addressing any allergic reactions to contrast.
• Maintain inventory of radiologic supplies and report deficiencies.
