Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. in Philadelphia seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform imaging examinations across two or more modalities. The role involves working in various imaging sections as needed, under the Radiology Manager's supervision.

The candidate will operate radiologic equipment, monitor patients, ensure safety, and produce high-quality images to aid diagnosis. Strong teamwork and ARRT/RDMS/CNMT credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience in primary modality required.
• 1 year of relevant experience in secondary modality required.
• Knowledge of radiography tools, techniques and applications.
• Ability to utilize multiple imaging technologies for diagnostic purposes.
• Maintains competency on multiple modality imaging.
• Knowledge of radiographic equipment and processes for image review.
• Knowledge of equipment management and procurement in line with policies.
• Knowledge of radiation safety regulations and nuclear materials handling.
• Knowledge of radiology-related laws and ethics and professional conduct.
• Teamwork is essential to function as part of a team.
• BS - Breast Sonography ARRT or RDMS or CNMT certifications.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and staff per Jefferson values.
• Operates radiologic equipment for diagnostic and/or therapeutic purposes.
• Monitors patient condition during procedures and provides high-quality images for diagnosis.
• Complies with radiologic safety regulations.
• Positions patients and equipment; administers contract as needed.
• Creates and maintains patient data and radiologic treatment reports.
• Work schedule split between two or more modalities based on needs.
