Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) program or current validated Registry from ARRT in Radiology Technology (R).
• ARRT (R), (CT) Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers and visitors consistent with Jefferson values.
• Positions radiographic equipment to produce necessary diagnostic images.
• Explains radiographic procedures and obtains patient history.
• Communicates effectively with patients about their care.
• Maintains x-ray equipment and ensures billing accuracy.
• Implements clinical protocols for imaging services.

BLS

License as required by state

Education

Graduate of ARRT program
